How is my Telecommunications equipment recycled?

   The term telecommunication equipment is broad in nature and covers many types of items that range from entire sytems such as; PBX, microwave, fiber optics, etc. Or, it can simply refer to individual items such as; telephones, modems, switches, and the like.  However, in the same way that a computer is dismantled, a similar approach is taken when recycling telecommunications equipment.  Basically, the equipment is demanufactured to its basic components for the purpose of recovering various commodities.
